AIEEA 2018 (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) is an entrance examination controlled and maintained by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for the candidates seeking their career in the agriculture field in India.

Every year ICAR conducts the agriculture entrance examinations for providing candidates to take admissions in Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral courses in Agriculture, Dairy Science/Technology, Fisheries Sciences, Forestry, Home Science, Horticulture and Food Science programs in various institutes of the ICAR in country India.

ICAR AIEEA 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for AIEEA 2018 is as follows:

NationalityIndian or Overseas Indian
Mandatory documentsAadhaar Card, Class 12th Marksheet, Class 10th Marksheet, Graduate Course Marksheets (if applying for PG course)
Age limit
  • Candidates age should be 16 years as on 31st August 2018. (for UG courses)
  • The candidates should not possess the age less than 19 years as on 31st August 2018. (for PG courses)
Attempts allowedCandidates can attempt the exam till the Age is not exceeded.
Qualification
  • Candidates must have passed/appearing 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biolog or any other elective subject with English. (for UG courses)
  • Candidates must have bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Veterinary, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Horticulture, Home Science, Sericulture, Dairy Technology, Forestry, Agri. Marketing and Cooperation, Food Science, Biotechnology, Basic and allied sciences etc. (for PG courses)
Percentage 60% (for general category), & 50% (for all other reserved categories)

ICAR AIEEA 2018 Application Form:

ICAR AIEEA 2018 Application Form will be available from 28th April 2018. The last date to submit the application will 4th May 2018. Candidates can print the receipt of the application form between 4th May 2018 to 13th May 2018. The application form can be filled by online mode only.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of ICAR AIEEA 2018, http://www.icar.org.in/
  • Step 2: Fill down the complete and correct details in the form. That are your name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, nationality, state, gender, communication address, email address, mobile number and your AADHAR number.
  • Step 3: After the final submission, note down your registration number.
  • Step 4: In the next screen upload your passport size photograph and signature.
  • Step 4: Make payment for application form fee and print the confirmation page.

ICAR AIEEA 2018 Admit Cards/ Hall ticket:

All the candidates who have registered for ICAR AIEEA 2018 examination need to download the admit card to appear in the main examination. Admit cards for ICAR AIEEA 2018 exam will be available from May 29, 2018, at the official website.

Here are the steps you need to follow to download your ICAR AIEEA 2018 admit card:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website and go to the candidate’s login window.
  • Step 2: Enter your login registration number, password and captcha code correctly.
  • Step 3: Go to the “admit card” tab and click on the link.
  • Step 4: Take a print out of your admit card for reference in future.

ICAR AIEEA 2018 Counseling:

Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Delhi has decided to complete the AIEEA 2018 counseling in three rounds. The first round of counseling will take place on July 4, 2018, to July 7, 2018. The procedure of ICAR AIEEA first round counseling registration is mentioned below:

  • Online Registration: Visit the official website and go to the section Counselling. Then register and get a unique User ID and Password on your registered mobile phone for the next step.
  • Choice Filling & Locking: Now choose the agriculture college as per your choice and list them. After the final edit lock all your choices.
  • Counseling Result Declaration: All the candidates will receive their result of their allotted course and college through their registered SMS and Email after counseling ends.
  • Reporting to Allotted College: After the counseling ends, all the candidates need to visit their allotted colleges and need to pay the fee to take admissions. In case, any candidate fails to report the college, then the seat will be given to the next candidate.

  1. please let me know how many attempts are there in icar aiee ug exam 2018 ? And what is the age limit ? From the above given article i am not able to clear my doubts about what should be the age limit and number of attempts!

      There’s no limit on the number of attempts. However, candidates’ minimum and maximum age should be 17 years and 23 years respectively as on 31.8.2018.
      If you belong to reserved categories (SC/ST/PC) then you are eligible to avail the benefits of relaxation in upper age limit (i.e 23 years) by 5 years.
